Best guitar I’ve ever owned!

Gabriel Anfosso, Blonde Heirloom Archtop

“Oh please let me say a few words….I’m SO happy because of you, you are like a father, it’s a real present, a real chance to know you. I don’t want people think I exaggerate. I’m a Professional jazz player and singer, one year and a half I began to work on your material, more and more…..and more. A private Lesson with you, a real gift, hours of pleasure and joyfulness. I work and I work again, my buddy players: “oh you play so nice things now it’s incredible.” To thank you and because I knew it would be great, I decided to purchase a Conti Heirloom Blonde…the best guitar I’ve ever owned!  (I played Gibson 175, Ibanez JP 20, for years, an excellent Epiphone emperor too.)  Photo of me here in December, sound check of a great private gig in Paris). So I’m so happy with what I learn with you (I will work again and again) I play on a fantastic guitar, I’ll have two private lessons with you in 2019, what more? BOB YOU ARE GREAT YOUR CREW IS GREAT HAPPY NEW YEAR HOPE I CAN SEE YOU AGAIN THANK YOU AND THANK YOU AGAIN!”

James Dawson and his Ruby Red Conti Equity Archtop

I’ve not put it down since I got it

My name is James Dawson. I’ve been playing for over 50 years. Studied with Hank Mackie, Jimmy Foster, (who also built me 7 seven string guitars” They are unreal.) Emily Remler, and several more wonderful teachers. I’ve looked for one and could not find one. Long story short, mike called me back and they had found one “RUBY RED”. It looks like I could have gotten the last one that could be made. I do setups for a good many players in town. NEVER have I got a guitar in the mail that I didn’t have to reface some frets,

Dave poses with his beautiful new Port Wine Lefty Conti Entrada Archtop Jazz Guitar

Found the perfect electric guitar…(UK)

The superb Conti Entrada was received extremely well packaged through FedEx International ahead of schedule. The supplied gig bag provided a safe and secure environment and the guitar was revealed in perfect condition. Once tuned, the Entrada played perfectly, no adjustment was needed to the intonation or playing action. The fret ends and fingerboard were exquisitely finished as was the tailpiece and headstock. A nice touch is the volute on the reverse of the join between the headstock and the neck. A sign of a quality instrument. The body finish is perfect with the stain revealing the attractive grain through

Pete Sternloff, collector of many guitars takes a moment to pose with his two Conti Entrada archtop jazz guitars!

Value of my Conti instruments far exceeds the price

I collect guitars with a large collection of new and preowned. Most are the latter. I have dealt primarily with dealers in acquiring the 125 instruments I own. The value of my Conti instruments far exceeds the price I paid for them as the quality and playability of both of these instruments is far greater than the price paid. Out of the box I can state that I have never acquired a new or used instrument that is set up and that plays better than my Conti Guitars. I am not an active professional player like many of those reviewing
