Smooth neck and great action
I Love My New Entrada! The 24-fret neck and shallow cutaway allow easy access to the highest register of the guitar. At half the depth of my old archtop, it’s easy to wrap my elderly right shoulder around. The spot behind the bridge where my hand rests while playing is comfortable. Gives me a consistent pick stroke across all strings. Beautiful antique sunburst finish. Smooth neck and great action. Ebony pickguard is thick and secure. Happier with that than I had expected to be. (I took the pickguard off my big ol’ archtop.) Plays so much better than my full-bodied archtop. Couldn’t be happier. Could I be a little better than I thought? Quality instruments do make a difference! The Entrada was packed securely in a thick carton. Inner packaging was thorough on all sides: the guitar was suspended inside the carton, cutting the risk of damage nearly nil. As always, the service Conti provides is unparalleled. He made me a 25-minute video, playing my new guitar after a tech set up, making sure it was just right. Then he detailed the instrument’s features while adding care and maintenance tips. Can’t beat Conti!

I’ve had too many guitars in my lifetime but the Entrada I recently bought is outstanding. I love playing it and it has killer action with a beautiful jazz tone. Does not rattle anywhere which is unusual. It is very acoustically live unplugged and has a killer tone through my AER. The thin body is very comfortable to hold sitting or standing and is lightweight. I must thank Bob and his staff for excellent service. I really love this guitar. Thanks again. mahalo!

In 2009 when Robert Conti came out with his Conti Archtop guitar, I purchased one identical to the one I am holding in the photo! It still looks and plays like a dream. The thinner body is extremely comfortable. The action is low and fast as well. The pick guard and tail piece are wood – just all an around great guitar with a lot of attention to detail. Mr. Conti, thank you for being an absolute gentleman and taking the time to speak with me at the NAMM show. You are an inspiration to me and countless other musicians.
