2024 – 2 Entrada Archtop Guitars Wonderful guitars. I call them my “fraternal twins”. Both of my Robert Conti designed guitars play magnificently, and carry the sound of a full size electrified arch top with the amazing dual Kent Armstrong pickups, Fantastic workmanship. Plays and sounds as good as it looks
Robert and crew, I received my Conti Entrada archtop jazz guitar yesterday. My father, who is retired, kindly stayed at my house to receive the guitar from FedEx while I was at work. Just as I was leaving the office I got a call from Mike to make sure I received the guitar okay. The customer service with this crew is outstanding. There is nothing I can say about the guitar that hasn’t been said already. It is absolutely gorgeous and it plays and sounds as good as it looks. I didn’t want to put it down last night but I needed at least a few hours of sleep before going to work the next day. I can’t wait to get home from work so I can play it some more!
It’s so much fun to finally play jazz on a proper jazz guitar. Pure joy. The guitar introduction video from Robert was fantastic. He discussed the guitar, playing technique, and my playing which he had heard. What a thrill. It’s obvious he really cares about his customers and students and runs a crew with the same values. As he was playing several tunes, I turned to my wife and said, “That’s the best this guitar is ever going to sound!,” ha! But with his instruction, I’m headed in the right direction.

P.S. I’ll send a photo soon. I’ll also try and make a video recording, but it may be a week or so. I’m really busy with work and family obligations this week, and quite frankly would rather play the guitar than mess with recording equipment in the small amount of free time I have this week. ?

More I play it, better I love it!
“Here is a picture of me with my new Conti Entrada. I have a 1951 Sunburst Gibson ES-175 I bought used around 1960 and a Blond Epiphone Emperor II Joe Pass model guitar I bought used in 2008. Buying an instrument sight unseen, is a daunting proposition. However, I must say that this guitar is everything you said it was. The action is perfect! The more I play it, the better I love it! I am still pleasantly surprised by how great the action is as I move up the neck. I kind of subconsciously expect more resistance with chords

My Port Wine single pickup Entrada guitar arrived yesterday in pristine condition. Very securely packed and in the best hard case I have seen. Thank you Robert and your team, especially Mike, who kindly answered all my questions when I called on Thanks Giving. A truly beautiful and high quality instrument.
