“My Conti Equity is a super sweet machine. It’s kinda like a Byrdland with one pickup. Being a big old guy, the big boxes, though I have several, are sometimes uncomfortable. This fits much better. And at 17″, with great wood (I might add) it doesn’t sound bad at all acoustic. Too bad an American equivalent would probably cost around $5,000.00 or more.” -Lou Cicconi – Odessa, NY
Plays and sounds as good as it looks
Robert and crew, I received my Conti Entrada archtop jazz guitar yesterday. My father, who is retired, kindly stayed at my house to receive the guitar from FedEx while I was at work. Just as I was leaving the office I got a call from Mike to make sure I received the guitar okay. The customer service with this crew is outstanding. There is nothing I can say about the guitar that hasn’t been said already. It is absolutely gorgeous and it plays and sounds as good as it looks. I didn’t want to put it down last night but I needed at least a few hours of sleep before going to work the next day. I can’t wait to get home from work so I can play it some more!
It’s so much fun to finally play jazz on a proper jazz guitar. Pure joy. The guitar introduction video from Robert was fantastic. He discussed the guitar, playing technique, and my playing which he had heard. What a thrill. It’s obvious he really cares about his customers and students and runs a crew with the same values. As he was playing several tunes, I turned to my wife and said, “That’s the best this guitar is ever going to sound!,” ha! But with his instruction, I’m headed in the right direction.
Thanks again Robert, and to all of your crew who made this guitar purchase a wonderful experience.

P.S. I’ll send a photo soon. I’ll also try and make a video recording, but it may be a week or so. I’m really busy with work and family obligations this week, and quite frankly would rather play the guitar than mess with recording equipment in the small amount of free time I have this week. ?

Value of my Conti instruments far exceeds the price
I collect guitars with a large collection of new and preowned. Most are the latter. I have dealt primarily with dealers in acquiring the 125 instruments I own. The value of my Conti instruments far exceeds the price I paid for them as the quality and playability of both of these instruments is far greater than the price paid. Out of the box I can state that I have never acquired a new or used instrument that is set up and that plays better than my Conti Guitars. I am not an active professional player like many of those reviewing
Super sweet machine…

Thank you for being you – I love the books , DVDs and the Conti Guitar is unbelievable. I would like to thank Mike for getting it in my hands around my busy travel schedule and the guitar tech who set it up. It’s true, I unpacked it and tuned it up and it played perfectly. You have no idea how long I have dreamed of being able to play chord melody but until I began your program I really didn’t make any real progress. Thank you!
